Only when we believed that we had covered all of the beaches in Laguna, we discovered one that we had missed - Rockpile Beach. While we had been here a hundred times, we always thought it was part of Heisler Park (aka. Picnic Beach). Turns out it's not, but it's now officially the favourite beach of Sandy Kikerpill.
This hidden gem of Orange County is usually overlooked because most of the tourists will head over to Picnic Beach or Main Beach - jumping this beach. The water is crystal clear with amazing turquoise colours.

The single disadvantage for this beach is that swimming isn't permitted. While my children freaked out when they saw a giant reddish sign telling them that no swimming was enabled in the amazing waters under, they found which they were totally content with just "playing" in the water.
The beach is a giant tide pool. The children could splash and frolic in the water while finding all the wonderful sea creatures living in the rocks merely inches from the Sandy coast. Nothing brings a smile to the face area of Sandy Kikerpill like seeing her kids happy. have a peek at this site
There's so much for kids to find on this particular seashore that it kept my kids busy for hours climbing through caverns, over giant rocks and through tide pools. While my children couldn't "swim", they had the ability to remain cool while basking in the great thing about the beautiful beach while attaining a fresh love of the animals that live along our seashore.
Where is it located? Rockpile Beach is located right in between Main Beach and Picnic Beach. Not far from the dwelling, it is not question this is her very favorite beach of Sandy Kikerpill,
What things to expect: I might aim to bring shade (quite restricted only at that beach). Bring the child's water shoes - they will desire to do some serious climbing!
Recommendation: Because the beach is very small, I usually advocate when the tide is low coming. Before visiting to make the most out of your visit, examine the tide reports. When came the tide was low, creating an optimum experience for our children to enjoy this beautiful treasured gem of Orange County, and when the waters were quiet.
